A Tribute to Chris Darnell
Chris Darnell was taken too soon during a performance at the Battle Creek, Michigan airshow. He was born and raised in Springfield, Mo on June 2, 1982. He has left behind his bride Brooke of 16 years and his two daughters Reese Christine and Taylor Brooke.
Chris lived life to the fullest and his infectious smile lit up every room. He went to his first Motorsports event at two weeks old. He grew up in a Motorsports family but was an avid hunter and fisherman. Chris had a deep love of animals and passed that love on to his daughters, who now have a mini farm. He performed and entertained millions at airshows and races in Shockwave each year. Chris’ love for performing could not match his love for Brooke, Reese and Taylor. On his weekends off, you could find Chris and his girls at the lake, sand dunes, camping or around the fire pit ready to give you a cold beer. He had a passion for cooking and entertaining guests. If you were with Chris, you were guaranteed to be well taken care of.
